This is the genuine 3-season sleeping bag (NSN: 8465-01-547-2706) from the legendary Modular Sleep System (MSS), trusted by the U.S. Army for its lightweight, durable, and weather-resistant performance. It's the perfect choice for camping, hiking, and backpacking from spring through fall.

3-Season Versatility

Designed as the primary warm-weather component of the MSS, this bag is officially rated for temperatures from +30°F to +50°F. It's made with a water-resistant ripstop nylon shell and a quick-drying polyester fill, providing warmth even in damp conditions. Its simple, effective design makes it an ideal standalone bag for most outdoor adventures.

Part of a Legendary System

While an excellent standalone bag, its true potential is unlocked as part of the complete Modular Sleep System. It is designed to accept the colder-rated black Intermediate bag inside it and can then be placed within the GORE-TEX bivy cover, creating a layered system rated for extreme temperatures.
