This artillery tumbler is inspired by the 155mm M110, a smoke, white phosphorus (WP), spin stabilized, bursting, carrier projectile used to produce screening smoke with a slight incendiary effect. The Smoke WP M110 projectiles consist essentially of a steel projectile containing an M6 burster loaded with Tetrytol running through the center of the main body, and an explosive filler of 15.6 lbs. WP (white phosphorous).  Much like the M34 Smoke Grenade, the WP is used to create a thick cloud of smoke to hide troops and vehicles as they maneuver on the battlefield.
