Return & Exchange Policy

All returns and exchanges must be approved before shipping anything back. Start every return through the portal — unapproved returns will not be accepted. Resolution (refund or store credit) is subject to vendor terms on third-party items.

Section 01

Return Windows

Return eligibility is determined by item category and the date of delivery, not the date of order.

Days — Shears & Holsters
ONE SHEAR® Trauma Shears and Kydex holsters. Non-engraved, unaltered units only.

Days — Apparel & Accessories
Garments, lifestyle items, and non-shear accessories from date of delivery.
Final
Sale — Excluded Items
Engraved or custom-altered items, armor-related products, clearance products, and digital gift cards. TOOR Knives subject to 25% restocking fee.

All sales are final once the return window has passed. No exceptions will be made for returns or exchanges initiated outside these windows, regardless of reason.

Section 02

Return & Exchange Eligibility

Items must meet the following conditions to be approved for return or exchange. ONE SHEAR® reserves the right to deny any return that does not meet these requirements upon inspection.

Unused and unaltered — item must be in original, undamaged condition.
Original packaging — item should be returned in original packaging where possible.
Proof of purchase — order number or emailed invoice required for all returns.
Return approved before shipment — do not ship items back without an approved return authorization from ONE SHEAR®.
Engraved or custom-altered items are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances.
Armor-related items are non-returnable for safety and liability reasons. All armor sales are final regardless of condition or reason.
Items showing use, damage, or modification will be denied upon inspection and returned to sender.
Clearance or final-sale items are non-returnable.
Digital gift cards are non-refundable once issued.

Restocking fees apply to specific vendor items: TOOR Knives returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee deducted from the refund. Other third-party and vendor-fulfilled items may be subject to restocking fees per their supplier terms. All applicable fees will be disclosed at the time of return approval — before you are required to ship anything back.

Section 03

How to Start a Return or Exchange

Do not ship items back without approval. Unapproved returns will not be accepted and will be returned to sender at their expense. All returns must be initiated through the portal below.

Submit Through the Returns Portal
Go to our returns portal and log in with your order email. Select the item(s) and reason for return.

Await Approval
Your request will be reviewed and you will receive an approval or denial within 2 business days. Do not ship until you receive written approval. If applicable, any restocking fees will be disclosed at this stage.

Ship Your Item
If you purchased REDO protection, a prepaid return label will be provided automatically. If you did not purchase REDO, return shipping is at your expense. Ship to: ONE SHEAR®, 17246 43rd Rd N, Loxahatchee, FL 33470.

Inspection
All returned items are inspected upon receipt. Returns that arrive damaged, altered, or in unsatisfactory condition may be denied even if previously approved. You will be notified of the inspection result by email.

Resolution — Refund or Store Credit
Once approved, your refund or store credit will be processed. Resolution type (refund vs. store credit) is subject to vendor return terms on third-party fulfilled items. For ONE SHEAR® direct items, refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Section 04

Refunds

Refunds are processed after inspection and approval of the returned item. Refund timing and method are as follows:

Approved refunds are issued within 5–7 business days of inspection.
Refunds are applied to the original payment method (credit card, PayPal, Shop Pay, etc.). Allow additional processing time per your financial institution.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable. The actual cost of initial shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.
Return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund if a ONE SHEAR® prepaid label was used and REDO was not purchased.
For third-party vendor items, resolution may be issued as store credit rather than a cash refund depending on that vendor's return terms. This will be disclosed before you are required to ship.

Haven't received your refund? First check your bank account and credit card statement — allow up to 10 business days. Then contact your card issuer. If you've done both and still haven't received your refund, email sales@oneshear.com with your order number in the subject line.

Section 05

Exchanges

Exchanges are available for defective or manufacturing-defective items within the applicable return window, and for eligible non-defective items (e.g. wrong size or color) subject to approval.

Defective or damaged items: ONE SHEAR® covers return and replacement shipping. Provide photos documenting the defect at time of portal submission.
Wrong item received: ONE SHEAR® covers return and replacement shipping. Report within 7 days of delivery.
Non-defective exchanges (size, color preference): approved at our discretion. Buyer is responsible for return shipping and outbound replacement shipping costs.

Replacement items will be shipped within 2 business days of inspection approval. The original item must be received and inspected before the replacement ships. ONE SHEAR® will not ship exchange items prior to receiving the return.

Section 06

REDO Package Protection

REDO is optional shipping and returns protection available at checkout. Purchasing REDO unlocks streamlined return processing and prepaid label coverage.

Prepaid return labels provided automatically through the REDO portal — no out-of-pocket shipping costs for eligible returns.
Lost or damaged in transit: REDO handles claims directly through their portal with faster resolution than carrier claims.
REDO claims are filed through the returns portal — not through the carrier.

If REDO was not purchased: ONE SHEAR® is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. You must file a claim directly with the carrier. Return shipping for approved returns is at the customer's expense.

Section 07

Outbound Shipping

Orders ship from our Florida warehouse or partner fulfillment facilities. Some items may ship separately with individual tracking numbers.

Carriers used include USPS First Class, USPS Priority, USPS International, UPS Ground, and UPS World Saver. Carrier selection is determined by destination and service level.

Multiple packages: Some orders may ship in separate packages from different fulfillment locations. You will receive individual tracking for each shipment. A "Label Created" status with no movement is normal — allow 24–72 hours for the first carrier scan.
