These are very good shears. They cut more effectively than my Raptor shears; other brands like ADC and cheaper units can't compare in quality or efficiency. They are heavier than a standard full size shear, but not to the point of being annoying while hanging from the loop inside the cargo pocket of my scrub pants. I work in an ED and have used them to cut away jeans, belts, sweatshirts, splint material, packaging, and other bulky items that would've wrecked cheaper shears immediately. I appreciate the adjustable hinge and overall design/aesthetic, in addition to the quality of construction materials. I keep a second pair in my vehicle for camping. They would also work well in the field, although they don't have as many features for EMS use in comparison to something like the Raptor. If you don't have a need for additional features, then I would highly recommend these- put your name on them so nobody walks away with them.
Heck yeah babay, penny cutter club. These da bomb. Snip snip.
great pair of shears! I've used them to cut or trim just about everything...obviously the cut fabric, but I've trimmed wire brushes and other harder materials and they are still sharp and did not become loose at the joint. I do take them to work but mostly use them around the house and garage for anything that needs to be cut or trimmed. well worth the extra cash for a quality pair rather than the cheapo's that need replacing after a few cuts of harder material.
